Educators

EDUCATORS PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE EMPLOYMENT FIRST MISSION

As an educator, you help students plan for the future they want as they prepare to transition into employment or post-secondary education. Educators also assist students in accessing Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS), which include career exploration and job readiness services provided by the state government.

There are many formal and informal ways that you as an educator can help your students achieve Employment First.

This page contains a variety of resources for educators to learn more about Employment First and what they can do to support their students who have disabilities.
